Nanotechnology Instrumentation and Metrology, Report of the National Nanotechnology Initiative Workshop (2004)

Report on an NNI workshop seeking research community input regarding capabilities needed for instrumentation and metrology for nanotechnology, held  January 27-29, 2004.

An NNI workshop held under auspices of the Nanoscale Science, Engineering and Technology (NSET) Subcommittee to help develop the research agenda relating to capabilities needed for instrumentation and metrology for nanotechnology.  Used in development of the National Nanotechnology Initiative Strategic Plan released in December 2004.  Session was jointly sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Technology Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce and, through the National Nanotechnology Coordination Office, the other members of the NSET Subcommittee.
